Property was amazing very Morden and cool interior staff were lovely very friendly. Rooms were very clean and tidy view from my rooms wasn’t great but I did go for the cheaper option as we weren’t planning on being in the room to much but room was a decent size very modern interior great shower and bathroom facilities. tv had access to Netflix which was great feature. incase any days we’re ruined by the unlucky rain days!. breakfast was a buffets style £15 per head unless you’ve booked already. Food was very nice. great choice of products recommend the raspberry marmalade croissants! small selection of teas and coffees are out but stay will make you a coffee y of your choice Café latte or cappuccino or any others so very good breakfast probs best one wee had on our trip.

I had a very big room with a gigantic bed it was so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. Loved how modern it was. My room even had a balcony so cute. Location was in the middle of La Spezia which is not such a interesting/nice city to stay in but it was perfect to reach all the nice beaches, cinque terra and small towns by car, bus or boat. So recommend to stay there just because of the amazing hotel and how comfortable it is. Parking was easy to find in the streets no need to park in there garage and pay the double. There is a park app called easy park app makes it easy to just park in the street. Dog friendly very helpful. Again the room on the 3rd floor 316 was big very comfortable, def a big plus on my trip.

There were many things we loved about this property. it was very clean! All of the furnishings were very nice as well. The only thing that I wasn’t as pleased with was the fact that I found the beds to be rather firm, however that is a very hard thing to satisfy each and every person on as everyone has different preferences. The hotel was very kind in allowing us to store our luggage there free of charge even after check out. We had the room that was pretty much right at the top of the stairs, so the noise level was a little high. I didn’t specify any different though and that would happen anywhere. So if you’re easily disturbed by noise at night, request a higher floor!

We arrived mid-morning with hopes of leaving our bags so we could visit the Cinque Terre and then come back later to check in. I’ll admit that I was mildly stressed over this, never having visited Italy before. Whenever we asked if we could store the bags the wonderful staff member at the desk offered to let us check in early. This was so appreciated! The room was comfortable, the temperature was perfect sine we were able to adjust, the beds were just right and we love the awesome shower! The front desk was happy to arrange a taxi for us after we enjoyed the best breakfast that we’ve had in our two-week trip to Europe. When we return, we will definitely book The Poet!

Top location. The train station is about 5 min walk away. The city center, shopping stores, church, restaurants, ... etc, are only a few steps away from the hotel. Our junior suite was big enough for 3 people. The design of the hotel is modern and extravagant. Very good breakfast. Many of the guests do not know or dare to ask for extra requests. e.g. boiled egg or fried egg, latte, espresso, etc.. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be sure to reserve parking if you have a car. The price is 30€/day, but it's worth it if you take a closer look at the Italian cars on the street.
